Mr Calder was invited to teach at the NSTC (Newcastle Surgical Training Centre), at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle, with Professor David Deehan.
This is a very special training laboratory for teaching young orthopaedic surgeons how to perform knee replacements. The course has a ratio of trainers to delegates or 1:2, making it very focussed and intense.
The day was spent with short talks and laboratory teaching, and was highly successful.

Why YKC?
YKC surgeons perform more knee replacements than almost anyone else. Discover why that matters.
