Major Knee Injuries in Sport Prevention, Early Recognition and Return to Play

    October 16, 2015 @ 9:30 am - 4:00 pm

    Event Navigation

    Headingley Carnegie Stadium
Knee ligament injuries can be devastating for both the injured athlete and their team with cruciate (ACL) injury usually costing a
whole season of play. Strategies to reduce the number of such injuries and to ensure prompt and accurate diagnosis are critical.

This landmark one-day event offers a unique opportunity for all those who are involved with the teaching, coaching or
treatment of sports individuals to interact with specialists whose role it is to diagnose and manage knee ligament injuries.

The meeting will focus on injury prevention strategies (especially in the young and developing player),
the importance of early recognition of injury and the requirements for safe return to play.
